Dear Webmaster, For the upcoming Holiday concert season the Southern Arizona Women's Chorus will present "Winter Celebrations Around the World." This consists of a compilation of winter celebrations from around the world: well known Christmas Carols and their origins, celebrations in Spain, Israel, Africa, and others. This chorus,directed by Terrie Ashbaugh and accompanied by Helen Jones, has been performing forthe Tucson area for over twenty years. It is their mission to "Promote music for women's voices and to support choral singing and its benefits in the community through performance, education, and mentoring" by "Making women's musical voices heard."
