The homes of Shadow Roc, located in the hills just north of Ina Road and east of Oracle Road, is surrounded by heavy brush and vegetation. The area is prone to fire and, unfortunately, does not have fire hydrants.
Tired of waiting for any "blessings" from the government, Shadow Roc Homeowners Association is taking the matter into its own hands and asking all 139 households to pony up $750 to have hydrants installed.
