The International School of Tucson (“IST”) is delighted to announce its French Play Groups for Semester I, 2009/2010.

 Research shows that the best time to expose your child to the sounds of other languages is from birth to around age three; the best time for language acquisition is birth to around age seven. Research also shows that knowing another language makes your child’s brain bigger.

 IST’s French Play Groups are a language exposure programme for children 6 – 36 month, together with their parent or care-giver. As/when numbers allow, Groups are split into ages 6 – 18 months (pre-verbal), 12 – 24 months (emerging verbal) and 18 – 36 months (verbal).

 Teacher :     ­;     ­;     ­; Mme Jessica Magnin is from Paris, France, her degree is actually in English! She has come to Tucson with her husband, an IST French teacher.
